We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not happy for any reason, we offer a straightforward 30-day return policy.

30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return eligible items for a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be in its original, unopened, factory-sealed packaging
  • The item must be unused and in the same condition you received it
  • You must provide proof of purchase (order number or email confirmation)

Returnable Items

✓ Eligible for Return:

  • Unopened battery packages in original factory-sealed condition
  • Items received in error
  • Defective or damaged products (within 30 days)

✗ Not Eligible for Return:

Due to health and safety regulations, we cannot accept returns of:

  • Opened battery packages
  • Batteries that have been removed from original packaging
  • Items beyond the 30-day return window
  • Items showing signs of use or installation

Why We Can’t Accept Opened Batteries: Once a battery package is opened, we cannot verify the contents, condition, or safety of the batteries. This policy protects all of our customers and ensures product integrity.

How to Initiate a Return

Step 1: Contact Us

Before returning any item, please contact our customer service team:

  • Email: support@nycbigwholesale.com
  • Subject Line:“Return Request – Order #[Your Order Number]”
  • Include:Your order number, reason for return, and photos (if damaged/defective)

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

We’ll review your request and provide:

  • Return authorization (if approved)
  • Return shipping address
  • Return instructions

Important: Do not ship items back without contacting us first. Unauthorized returns may not be processed.

Step 3: Ship Your Return

  • Pack the item securely in its original packaging
  • Include a copy of your order confirmation or packing slip
  • Ship to the return address provided by our team
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method
  • Note:Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error

Step 4: Receive Your Refund

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Refund Processing:5-7 business days
  • Refund Method:Original payment method
  • Refund Amount:Full product price (original shipping charges are non-refundable unless item was defective)

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged product, we’ll make it right at no cost to you.

Within 48 Hours of Delivery: Contact us with photos showing:

  • The damaged packaging (if applicable)
  • The defective or damaged product
  • Any relevant details

We’ll Provide:

  • Free return shipping label (if return is necessary)
  • Full refund including original shipping charges, OR
  • Free replacement shipped immediately

Exchanges

We don’t offer direct exchanges. If you’d like a different product:

  1. Return the original item for a refund (following our return process)
  2. Place a new order for the desired item

This ensures you receive your new item as quickly as possible.

Refund Timeline

After We Receive Your Return:

  • Inspection:1-2 business days
  • Refund Processing:3-5 business days
  • Bank Processing:5-10 business days (depending on your bank)

You’ll receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

Note: The original shipping fee is non-refundable unless:

  • The return is due to our error (wrong item shipped)
  • The product is defective or damaged

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

  • Opened battery packages
  • Items beyond the 30-day return window
  • Items without proof of purchase
  • Items not purchased from NYC

Lost or Stolen Packages

We are not responsible for packages that are:

  • Stolen after successful delivery confirmation
  • Lost due to incorrect shipping address provided by customer
  • Damaged in transit (unless inadequate packaging on our part)

For lost or stolen packages, we recommend:

  1. Filing a claim with the shipping carrier
  2. Filing a police report (for stolen packages)
  3. Contacting your credit card company for potential purchase protection

We’re happy to provide shipping documentation to support your claim.

Bundle & Sale Items

Returns of bundle packages or sale items follow the same policy:

  • Must be unopened and in original condition
  • 30-day return window applies
  • Refund will be for the amount paid (discounted price)

Restocking Fees

We do not charge restocking fees for eligible returns.
